Jessica is a Chicago native and graduate of University of Chicago with 17+ years of education, instructional development and teaching experience. She specializes in team training and leading well-attended workshops across myriad genres. An excellent communicator, Jessica started her career in Rome, Italy where she spent 7 years teaching English Literature and English Language Learning.
Storytelling, discovery and mystery-solving is her jam, linking together the historical past with the relevant present. She focuses her tours by personalizing each session to her guests’ special interests and individual curiosities. Jessica is a tour guide on our “The World Within (I): Dazzling Interiors™ of the Loop” tour and our “Open Your Eyes: Chicago’s Underground Pedway and Other Secrets of the Loop” tour.
She spends her time offering curriculum design support to small businesses, universities and other school programs. An avid breathwork practitioner, Jessica loves all things aerial (high-altitude adventuring, yoga, flying small planes), as well as ground activities like dancing, cooking, and tasting delectable cuisine from around the world.
