Originally hailing from the Detroit area, Karinna brings a lively spark and magnetic presence to everything she does. A proud graduate of Central Michigan University (Fire Up Chips!), she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Theater and Interpretation, where her love of storytelling truly took center stage. That passion led her straight to the dazzling lights of Chicago—a city as rich in drama and history as any stage—and she's called it home ever since.
Karinna’s joy for sharing stories isn’t limited to the theater. A proud history buff and self-proclaimed "history nerd," she delights in digging into the layers of Chicago’s past, especially when it comes to its shadowy, intriguing gangster era. Few can spin a tale of Al Capone and the Chicago Outfit with as much flair, humor, and insight as Karinna—just ask anyone who's taken a tour with her!
When she’s not charming audiences onstage or leading guests through the hidden architectural gems of downtown, Karinna is most likely curled up at home with her two beloved cats, recharging with cuddles and perhaps a true crime documentary. Her warmth, wit, and genuine love for people make every interaction a joy—whether you’re watching her perform or following her down a historic Loop corridor on one of our signature tours.
