Hailing from Detroit, Michigan, Scott has been passionate about history since he was a kid, so researching Chicago’s fascinating history is right up his alley (he particularly loves learning about Chicago’s famous World’s Fair of 1893). He infuses this love of history in his guiding for Inside Chicago Walking Tours!
Scott brings his tours to life with the energy and creativity of a true storyteller. Holding a theater degree from Central Michigan University, Scott draws on his theatre background, engaging guests with vivid narratives, humor, and an actor’s sense of timing, transforming historical facts into immersive experiences. Whether he’s guiding guests through the eerie (but true!) tales on our “Haunted by Our Dark Side” tour, or showing them the festive sites on our “Christmas Tree Crawl” tour, Scott’s enthusiasm is infectious.
